由美国Soterix公司开发出的HD-Explore模拟仿真软件是目前市场占有率较高、发文较多的一款颅内电场模拟软件,该软件是利用功能性核磁共振扫描建立真实精确的大脑模型,通过有限元分析方法,利用拉普拉斯方程对脑内的电场进行模拟,让研究者得以了解电场在颅内的分布情况;


HD-Explore软件的有效性已通过功能性磁共振(Halko 2011)、神经电生理学实验(Edwards 2013)、头皮表层电位记录(Datta 2013)、颅内电极记录(Huang 2013)的验证。
